Ethics Policy

The ethical principles that guide Kings Journal reporting and editorial conduct.

Accuracy & fairness

We present facts in context and give subjects reasonable opportunity to respond to critical allegations before publication when time allows. Headlines and summaries must accurately reflect article content.

Conflicts of interest

Staff and contributors disclose financial, political, or personal interests that could affect coverage. Conflicted journalists do not report on matters where independence would be compromised.

Privacy & harm minimisation

We weigh the public interest against individual privacy, especially for private individuals and vulnerable groups. We do not identify victims of sexual offences without legal justification and editorial approval.

Building authority responsibly

Topical authority is earned through consistent, accurate reporting — not volume alone. We prioritise citations, transparent sourcing, and original value over churn. See our editorial policy for publication standards.
